Your information
PRIVACY
POLICY
We collect what we need to bring you totes and come back for them. Nothing else. This policy describes exactly what that means, in the order you'd actually want to know it.
702BinCity LLC dba Bin City
Version 1.0
Effective September 7, 2026
1. The short version
- We collect your name, phone, email, delivery and pickup addresses, and the details of your booking. That is essentially it.
- We never see your card number. Stripe handles payment on its own systems.
- We do not run analytics. No Google Analytics, no tag manager, no heatmaps.
- We do not use advertising or tracking pixels. No Meta pixel, no Google Ads tag, no retargeting.
- BinCityLV.com does not set cookies. That is why you have never seen a cookie banner here.
- We do not sell your information, and we have never sold it.
- We share your information only with the four service providers that make the booking work, and only as much as each one needs.
If any of that changes, this policy changes first — see Section 11.
2. What we collect
Under Nevada law we are required to tell you the categories of information we collect. Here they are, with the actual fields.
2.1 When you book a rental
- Identifiers: first name, last name, email address, phone number.
- Addresses: delivery street address, unit, city, state and ZIP; pickup street address, unit, city, state and ZIP.
- Access information you choose to give us: gate codes, parking instructions, floor and elevator notes, and anything else you type into the access-notes fields. We ask for this only so a driver can reach your door.
- Booking details: package, number of totes and dollies, rental length, delivery and pickup dates and windows, price, booking reference, and any notes you add.
- Acceptance record: the date and time you accepted our agreements, which version of each you accepted, and the IP address the acceptance came from. We keep this because it is the evidence of what you agreed to, and it protects you as much as us.
2.2 When you request a quote
Name, email, phone, the package you're interested in, your move date, tote colour preference, and anything you write in the message box.
2.3 When you pay
Payment is handled by Stripe on Stripe's own checkout page. We never receive, see, or store your full card number, CVC, or PIN. What comes back to us is a confirmation that payment succeeded, the amount, the card brand, the last four digits, and a Stripe reference.
Because you have asked us to keep a payment method on file for legitimate rental charges (see Section 14 of the Rental Agreement), Stripe stores your card securely and gives us a token that lets us request a charge. The token is not a card number and cannot be used anywhere else.
2.4 Automatically, when you visit the site
Our host, Netlify, keeps standard server logs: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser's user-agent string. This is ordinary web-server logging used for security and to keep the site running. We do not use it to build a profile of you and we do not link it to your booking, other than the single IP address recorded with your agreement acceptance.
2.5 Fonts
Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. That means your browser requests font files from Google's servers, and Google receives your IP address as part of that request, as it would for any resource loaded from another domain. Google Fonts does not set cookies. We mention it because it is the only third-party request our pages make that we do not otherwise describe, and we would rather over-disclose than under-disclose.
2.6 What we do not collect
- Your card number, bank account, or any financial account details.
- Social Security numbers or government ID numbers. We never ask, and please don't send them.
- Precise geolocation from your device.
- Biometric data.
- Browsing behaviour on other websites.
- Any special category of sensitive personal information.
3. How we use it
- To deliver your rental — schedule the drop-off and pickup, route the driver, and reach your door.
- To contact you about your booking — confirmations, reminders, running-late notices, and questions about your move.
- To take payment and to apply any charge you have authorized under the Rental Agreement.
- To keep our records — accounting, tax, and proof of what was agreed.
- To handle a problem — a damage question, a refund, a dispute, or a chargeback.
- To keep the site secure and prevent fraudulent or abusive bookings.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not use your information to advertise to you, and we do not build marketing profiles.
3.1 Marketing email
We currently send only transactional email: booking confirmations, reminders, receipts, and messages about your rental. We do not send marketing newsletters. If that ever changes we will ask you to opt in first, and every marketing message will have a working unsubscribe link.
3.2 Text messages
We text you only if you separately opt in at checkout, and only about your rental — coordination, running-late notices and reminders. That opt-in is a separate box from our agreement acceptance, it is not pre-ticked, and agreeing to texts is never a condition of renting. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. We never share your phone number with anyone for their own marketing.
4. Who we share it with
Nevada law requires us to tell you the categories of third parties we may share your information with. We use four service providers, and each gets only what it needs to do its job:
| Provider | What it does | What it receives |
| Stripe |
Processes payments and stores your card on file |
Your email, booking reference, amount, and the card details you enter directly on Stripe's page |
| Airtable |
Stores our booking records |
Your booking record — name, email, phone, both addresses, access notes, dates, price and status |
| Resend |
Sends our confirmation and reminder emails |
Your name, email address, and the booking details that appear in the email |
| Netlify |
Hosts BinCityLV.com and runs the booking code |
Standard server log data, and booking data in transit while it is being processed |
Each of these is a service provider acting on our instructions, not an independent business making its own use of your information. Each has its own privacy policy and security practices, and none of them is permitted to sell your information.
We may also disclose information:
- To professionals we engage — our accountant, bookkeeper, or attorney — where they need it.
- Where the law requires it — a subpoena, court order, or lawful government request.
- To protect rights and safety — to investigate fraud, enforce our agreements, recover unreturned equipment, respond to a chargeback, or defend a legal claim.
- In a business transfer — if the business is sold or reorganized, customer records may transfer to the new owner, who would be bound by this policy or one at least as protective. We would tell you.
5. We do not sell your information
702BinCity LLC does not sell any covered information about you, and has never done so. We do not exchange it for money or anything else of value, and we do not share it with anyone for their own advertising or marketing purposes.
Nevada law (NRS 603A.340 to 603A.360) gives Nevada consumers the right to tell an operator not to sell their covered information. Even though we do not sell it, we are required to give you an address for making that request, and we are glad to confirm your status in writing. Our designated request address is:
info@bincitylv.com — put "Nevada Opt-Out" in the subject line.
We will respond within 60 days. Nevada law allows a 30-day extension where reasonably necessary, and we will tell you if we need it.
6. Cookies and tracking across websites
Nevada law requires us to say whether any third party may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites through our site. The answer is no.
- BinCityLV.com sets no cookies of its own. We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising, personalization, or session tracking.
- There are no analytics tools on this site. No Google Analytics, no Google Tag Manager, no session recording, no heatmaps.
- There are no advertising or social media pixels. No Meta or Facebook pixel, no Google Ads conversion tag, no TikTok pixel, no retargeting of any kind.
- Nobody is tracking you across other websites through us.
Stripe's checkout runs on Stripe's own pages at checkout.stripe.com and does set cookies there, for payment security and fraud prevention. That is governed by Stripe's privacy policy, not this one.
Do Not Track. Because we do no tracking, there is nothing for a Do Not Track signal to switch off. We honour it by default.
7. How long we keep it
- Booking records — kept for seven (7) years from the end of your rental. We need them for accounting and tax, and because Nevada's limitation period for a written contract claim is six years.
- Your payment method on file — removed 60 days after your equipment is recovered, per Section 14.2 of the Rental Agreement.
- Agreement acceptance records — kept for as long as we keep the booking they relate to.
- Quote requests that don't become bookings — kept for up to two (2) years, then deleted.
- Server logs — retained by Netlify under its own standard retention period, which is short.
- Payment records held by Stripe — retained by Stripe under its own obligations as a regulated payment processor, which we do not control.
8. Reviewing and changing your information
Nevada law requires us to describe how you can review and request changes to the information we hold. It is simple: email info@bincitylv.com from the address on your booking, tell us what you want, and include your booking reference if you have one.
You can ask us to:
- Show you what we hold about you;
- Correct anything that is wrong;
- Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it. We generally cannot delete records of a completed rental before the seven-year period is up, because tax and accounting rules require us to keep them — but we can delete quote requests, marketing contacts, and access notes at any time;
- Stop texting you (or just reply STOP);
- Remove your card from file — see Section 14.4 of the Rental Agreement; and
- Confirm we have not sold your information, per Section 5 above.
We will verify it is really you before acting — usually by replying to the email address on your booking. We respond within 30 days for most requests, and within 60 days for Nevada opt-out requests. We do not charge for this and we will not treat you differently for asking.
9. How we protect it
- Everything is sent over HTTPS. Your booking is encrypted in transit between your browser, our site, and every service provider we use.
- Card details never touch our systems. They go directly from your browser to Stripe.
- Access is limited to the people who need it to run the business.
- Our admin page is password-protected and the password is checked on the server, not in your browser.
- API keys and secrets are held as server-side environment variables, never in the pages you download.
We take the reasonable security measures Nevada law requires (NRS 603A.210), and we encrypt personal information when it moves outside our systems (NRS 603A.215). No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you as required by NRS 603A.220.
10. Children
BinCityLV.com is not directed to children, and you must be 18 to book. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email info@bincitylv.com and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
Nevada law requires us to describe how we notify you of material changes. Here is our process:
- The version number and effective date at the top of this page change whenever the policy does.
- For a material change — a new category of information collected, a new third party we share with, a new tracking technology, or any change to whether we sell information — we post a clear notice on this page for at least 30 days before it takes effect, and we email customers with an active or upcoming booking.
- We will never apply a materially less protective policy retroactively to information we already collected from you without asking you first.
- If we ever add analytics or advertising technology, this policy will say so before it goes live, not after.
